What is an EcoBroker®?

EcoBroker® is an education and designation program for Real Estate Professionals who care about the environment and want to promote energy-efficient and "green" features in homes and buildings. The EcoBroker® logo is the symbol of environmentally responsible and sustainable practices in the Real Estate industry. This Certified EcoBroker® helps you and the planet get the most when buying or selling a home.

Sustainability: My Priority as an EcoBroker

  • Minimize paper usage: use of email, electronic signatures, electronic transaction management systems, etc. when possible.
  • Recycle and compost most household waste.
  • Utilize wind power: 100% of my home energy usage comes from this renewable source.
  • Donate a portion of our profits to green building organizations, sustainability organizations, and other non-profits.
  • Respect tenants' and homeowners' rights and responsibilities.
  • Partner with designers and builders who specialize in green building and remodeling as well as solar panel installation and Geothermal systems.
  • Building a database of green properties in The Twin Cities Metro area.
  • Certified EcoBroker: trained in energy and environmental issues to be used as tools in the service of my clients, bringing far greater value.
  • Member of the White Bear Racket & Swim "Team Sustainability" based on The Natural Step Framework
  • Member of the White Bear Lake Commission on Environmental and Sustainable Practices
  • Working to bring truly affordable housing to my community
